I was just wondering what people thought about the Music education scene for the infant child. Music is so important in the early years of a child's life as it nutures them in so many different ways. I feel that the Government doesn't realise how important it is and therefore don't put much effort into it. Every child should be given the opportunity to express themselves musically. I am currently writing a paper on this subject as well as how young children cope with syncopation. Do any of you have any thoughts at all on this. It would be so much appreciated! Children can do so much more than we give them credit for. Do any of you have any thoughts at what age syncopation should be introduced? Cheers for reading! x-- posted by Carine84
