Hi, I'm recently interested in the history of the Underground Railroad, so was happy to find your article. I tried the Milton link, but found no reference to the Underground Railroad, or to safe houses, etc. And the link at the end of the article didn't work, perhaps it's no longer available. But, interesting information. I'm in the process of making a teaching quilt for my sons school that portrays the events of the Underground Railroad, and the possible role that quilts played.-- posted by Juju57
