» cswitwer - Thanks!

Thanks, Pamela! My last three relationships have been plagued by sexual problems-- many of which you covered here-- and every time the woman I'm dating thinks my lack of interest is a lack of interest in her, which isn't the case at all. I have tried explaining things, but words only get you so far. I'm still trying to find a way to make partners understand. Either that, or I'm still looking for the partner who just will. I think she's out there. ;-)

Well, I start self-injecting next week. Wish me luck!!

Best,
chris

Hi Chris. I'm glad you found the article helpful. I know that this is a problem that somehow gets lost in many discussions about the effects of MS. But I think it's a pretty important one.

I certainly wish you well on your self-injection. I've been at it for a couple of years now. The process itself is not so bad, once you get the hang of it. I just have a problem remembering what day to do it. :-)

Thanks for posting!

» Jane100 - Good Info!

I was recently diagnosed but my doctor has traced episodes back 10 years. I have been having problems with dryness, LOTS of pain with intercourse, loss of interest ... all of the things you mentioned in your article ... for about 5 years. I have gone to my gyn (he blew me off and told me to see a shrink). I have talked to a psychologist (he said that I just wasn't trying hard enough). I asked my neurologist when I was diagnosed if there were any sexual issues associated with MS. He said, "no." I have been saying for years that something is misfiring in my brain but no one will listen. Reading your article at least confirms for me that I'm not crazy!! Maybe someday they will find some female viagra to combat this!
