» vemartin - Thank for the personal insights... I personally would like to commend the author for her courage and dedication in making this site into a fountain of knowledge on the subject of MS. Her personal insights add a touch of humanity and “real world” experiences to a body of knowledge heretofore muddled in medical jargon and clinical morass that can prove hard to decipher and understand.I am not an MS sufferer and I can only image what it must be like to live with this most maddening of diseases on a daily basis and still find the courage to face the day. My admiration and respect for the author and for anyone else who suffers from the disease, know no bounds. I tip my hat to you Malady and once again commend you on job well done. Vincent E. Martin -- posted by vemartin » loveisjoy - God Bless Our Caregivers Thank you so much for the vote of confidence.Multiple sclerosis can be a maddening experience, and those of us who live with it daily are grateful for the support of our caregivers. A caregiver may be a family member, friend, or healthcare professional. They may see us at our worst, but still manage to see the very best in us. They encourage us and nurture us; indeed, they also live with MS through us. Their support makes the journey much more bearable. I wonder if there is an official, "Caregivers Appreciation Day." Does anyone happen to know? -- posted by loveisjoy » FeeOlivarez - Alternatives I think that anyone looking for a fast buck prey on people with diseases and hope that they are as desperate as they are. I never believed in the BVT and I always think that if it is not reccomended by my neurologist or physican, then it's not worth me trying.-- posted by FeeOlivarez
