» Red - farmhouse...

Norm,

This is one farmhouse I would love to see. Do you have a photo of it? It sounds like a place that I would enjoy visiting.

Thanks for sharing this unique farmhouse. If I am ever in the area, I will be sure to stop in for a visit.

What a great article, Norman. It would be interesting to visit this old farmhouse, and see how the Filles du Roi lived! I enjoyed my visit to your topic, and will visit again! Best wishes, Renie

Fascinating story, I can imagine how the walls of the house looked, my brother has an old mill in Wales and it too has stone walls about two feet thick, but no damp course unfortunately, it is very cold in winter :-( Fancy only a handful of females to 3000 males, well, they could afford to be picky :-)
