Great history of Montreal. Champlain was giving credit for the founding when I went to school but agree that Jaques Cartier did visit there before him.

I would love to be able to attend the celebration in the market place. And that cemetery sounds intriguing. I enjoy visiting all places of historical significance.

When you have time, drop over for a visit. I have a historical piece coming out this coming weekend that I think you will remember and enjoy.
