Although if we did do this we would be playing but there is no actual definite proof that there is one or that ours is the correct one. Plus mankind does many things that dont actually benifit us, we cut down rain forests which benifit us, but it doesnt benifit animals.In the long run we wont benifit because there wont be any left.I just want to say we are killing our planet. God may not even exist. We all want to beleive we and our loved ones will goto a better place but until we really see him or have some undeniable proof then I don't want to take chances. This would be a large advance in technology , and I have to agree we could make a mistake that could be catastrophic, but in time its possibly that with cloning we could create some sort of storage facility where we could kind of freeze the animals cells so if the animal goes extinct we could grow them back into being.And if theres some sort of out break of the engineered species we could easily do what we do now,destroy its habitat and use it for personal gain until its gone.the Human population wont be declining in the near future, and god wouldn't be angry because it would be for a noble cause.Think of all the advances.If there was a vote and yours made the difference between cloning and not, you voted no lets say.Your mom comes down with cancer and is suffering horribly you could have prevented and ended the suffering of her and many others by just saying yes.I dont know.We could greatly benifit this.Just give it some thought.-- posted by LordFilth123
