Do you have a picture you can post? We have a Red Heeler (Cattle Dog) mix, and she sounds very similar....ours is likely crossed with pit bull, but not certain. Pit bulls can get that strip of hair that runs down their back....ours has large pointed ears, and is a red color. One eye is brown, one blue. Yours sounds so much like Liberty....the not liking water, fast runner...etc. Heelers have dingo in them way back...and can actually have a lot of pit bull features, from what I've seen!
