Celtic Christianity for the 21st Century: Re: Why Celtic Christianity ?

» candleman13 - Re: Why Celtic Christianity ? In response to message posted by frrickccc:There were two major religions in 36 A.D that ultimately merged into Christianity. These were the followers of Mithra, and the other were the followers of Dionysus. When you speak of Celtic Christianity, which of these two paths do you speak of. I am concerned because the two terms, Celtic Christianity, could possibly cancel out the other as an oxymoron. Therefor, please help me understand the origins of Celtic Christianity if different from the merging religions I spoke of earlier. If anyone else can help me on this question, please advise. I would not want modern day Christians to be confused on what the initial poster was speaking of. -- posted by candleman13
