Could you tell me where you learned about Mary draping her garment over the bush? I would like to use this plant for our next christmas party, however , I want to know where tis information came from. thanks

Hi Olaf, The legend is an oft repeated one. I first remember hearing it as a child and many times since. I did find it on many pages I visited while researching my article. Here is one of them. If you do a general search for Rosemary on a search engine, you should come up with many more sources with similar legends.

Actually i really was surprized to find quite a bit of lore surrounding the plant both Christian oriented, as well as some from other religions.
