Bacteria in Armpits?

I think it could be inherited, a doctor once asked me if anyone in my family suffered from body odor, but what could I say except I don't know. Hell I don't even know some of my family members. In response to detox products posted by Clana:-- posted by P24 » cancal - Armpit Odor - this will help Everyone, I had posted many weeks prior letting everyone know that I was trying something different and I now wanted to let you all know that I found something finally that really helps.1st, wash your body and under-arm with a puff or face cloth with "anti-bacteria" body wash. The bottle must say it otherwise it is not anti-bacterial. 2nd, go to a drug store and pick up a bottle of "hand sanitizer". I have used "germ-x" and it works great. Runs about 5 bucks a bottle. 3rd, while your at the drug store, pick up Crystal deodorant. It works ! runs about 5 bucks. By washing very well, drying yourself off with a clean towel and applying about a dime size amount of Germ-x or other hand sanitizer to your underarms, then you can wait until it dries or apply the crystal deodorant immediately afterwards, it doesn't matter. This works. Then start throwing away your old shirts and buying new ones. The only time that I found I smelled was when I put on an old shirt. The new shirts were fresh and clean. After a full day, I smelled my pits and it was sunshine fresh... finally relief ! ! Try it and let me know. I think so far it is a cure and it's cheap. I hope it helps everyone ! On the first day I got a little odor. On the second day I sweat pretty heavily and got no odor. On day three however I didn't sweat much, but I got odor. Someone told me you have to use it for a week or so before it becomes effective and works consistantly. Have you had any experience with this? I still found an odor after the day was done but not as much. The important combination that I found really helped was by adding the hand sanitizor. When you stop and think about it, the bacteria under the arms are really tough to get rid of. Reading the posts tells everyone that even after showering and washing really well, I and others still have the odor. The hand sanitizer kills the bacteria under the arms and I personally believe that it soaks under the skin layer as well. It is not a once application. I'm not 100% sure how well it works though. I'm still unsure so I'll keep running the "sniff tests" on it. I'm thinking I'll switch from my lightly scented fabric softner to a fragrance free one because I think it will mix with my body chemistry better. I so badly want my confidance back. If I can find a solution to this problem I will feel like a major weight has been lifted off of me. I'm praying for all of you and I ask you to do the same for me. Best of luck everyone! P.S. The weather here is around 80 degrees so at some points I am sweating buckets but the crystal seems to be holding up. I really hope this lasts. -- posted by runlikehell » stinkbomb - i smell good....not!!! you know what really sucks.....i don't know if my nose has adjusted to my stink but sometimes i think i smell good still till my husband tells me i don't.somethimes i can't even tell!!! well, i tried the hand sanitizer thing...i've tried it before. it gave me a really weird smell. i haven't found anything that my body likes. it always seems to make my b.o. smell even worse. i still haven't had a chance to pick up some body detox. i'm still planning on doing that. i'll let you know. i'm glad some of you have success for at least a couple of weeks. it seems once i try something new if works for like 2 days!!! -- posted by stinkbomb » runlikehell - i smell good....not!!!
