Soak a cotton ball/pad in peroxide and rub under your arm. It kills the bacteria that causes odor. I've also heard putting vanilla extract on a cotton pad and using that will help. I've also been doing research, and you can try cutting a lemon and rubbing it under your arm. Also, sometimes, you can have a zinc or magnesium deficiency, so try a mineral supplement of one or both of those things. Selmedica is being sued by other companies and their "supplement" is not FDA approved. Think about it, if Botisol really worked, wouldn't we all be taking it? Look at previous posts for the link to the lawsuit. They probably sell you the same pill for every problem they try to cure. I'm assuming you have. Anyways, they might be dark from all the chemicals you have tried on them. Peroxide is kind of harsh on the underarms. Try "Dry Idea Unscented". It is the most effective deodorant/antiperspirant that I have used for odor control. Calcium Chloride is salty and inhibits bacteria etc. Good luck. -- posted by runlikehell » stinkbomb - underarm odor how long have you used it? i don't know but when i try a new deodorant it seems to work than after a couple days it seems my body gets used to it or something. does that happen to anybody? the unscented deodorants seem to work better. the scented ones seem to make my b.o. even more stronger. i'm using mitchum gel but it doesn't even come close to keeping me dry but it does keep me smelling better for a little longer than the rest.-- posted by stinkbomb » runlikehell - underarm odor In response to underarm odor posted by stinkbomb:I've used it for about 2 weeks. But yah, I'd have to agree with you, with some deodorants/antipersps, it seems they only work for a short while and then they stop working. I think the best solution to this is find 2 or 3 that work and then just cycle them, like use a differant one each day. I find that inconvenient, but if it works, I don't really care. I have found some deodorants that you don't need to cycle, but the company changed the formula!!
