In response to underarm odor posted by desert5:I think the "remedy" is hydrogen peroxide. Soak a cotton ball/pad in peroxide and rub under your arm. It kills the bacteria that causes odor. I've also heard putting vanilla extract on a cotton pad and using that will help. I've also been doing research, and you can try cutting a lemon and rubbing it under your arm. Also, sometimes, you can have a zinc or magnesium deficiency, so try a mineral supplement of one or both of those things. Hope that helps!

In response to Don't bother posted by Clana:Botisol probably does not work. It's a scam. Selmedica is being sued by other companies and their "supplement" is not FDA approved. Think about it, if Botisol really worked, wouldn't we all be taking it? Look at previous posts for the link to the lawsuit. They probably sell you the same pill for every problem they try to cure. Save your money and don't take Botisol.

thanks to clana and runlikehell for your responses. it's great to know that we can help eachother out. it's not like it's a topic we can bring up to anyone.i just tried using mitchum gel unscented. it seems to be alot stronger than any other deodorant, but i do sweat still. we'll see.

i've tried peroxide. it just stinged and made my armpits smell weird. the other ideas, i have not tried yet. i've heard that lemons help lighten the skin too?? my underarms are very dark....does anyone have this problem too? is that linked to the b.o.? questions. questions. where are the answers????-- posted by stinkbomb

Anyways, they might be dark from all the chemicals you have tried on them. Peroxide is kind of harsh on the underarms. I'm praying for all of you and I hope you find a cure. best of luck, I'll keep checking up on you guys.

In response to underarm odor posted by runlikehell:Hey guys, try a deodorant/antiperspirant with Calcium Chloride. Try "Dry Idea Unscented". It is the most effective deodorant/antiperspirant that I have used for odor control. Calcium Chloride is salty and inhibits bacteria etc. Good luck.

how long have you used it? i don't know but when i try a new deodorant it seems to work than after a couple days it seems my body gets used to it or something. does that happen to anybody? the unscented deodorants seem to work better. the scented ones seem to make my b.o. even more stronger. i'm using mitchum gel but it doesn't even come close to keeping me dry but it does keep me smelling better for a little longer than the rest.-- posted by stinkbomb

But yah, I'd have to agree with you, with some deodorants/antipersps, it seems they only work for a short while and then they stop working. I think the best solution to this is find 2 or 3 that work and then just cycle them, like use a differant one each day. I find that inconvenient, but if it works, I don't really care. I have found some deodorants that you don't need to cycle, but the company changed the formula!! It's a real shame.

was wondering if anyone knew how to get the b.o. stink out of clothes. i've gotten rid of so many clothes cuz the smell just won't get out. does anyone have any ideas???? i've tried that febreeze odor removing detergent....that was a waste of money,stain removing sprays, and washing it several times. i don't even want to buy nice clothes cuz of this problem. i wear a shirt a few times and it's tossed!! the stink and the stain...i just can't get rid of. this problem really just ruins your life. i can't even buy nice clothes and feel good about myself, so i buy these 8dollar shirts that are easy to toss. it's just so devastating!-- posted by stinkbomb
