If you're looking for help the best place to check would be the MSN group: Body Odor Support. Besides that one there is the Yahoo body odor group. I know it's a terrible condition, but we just gotta live our lives. We can't just give up and get depressed. It won't do any good. I know it might be hard when people make rude comments to you or ask "what's that smell?" but just ignore it and keep going. Life is too short to sit around and mope. Make the best of what you have and eventually things will get better. Best of luck everyone. Also, on a side not, I feel some people don't really have odor problems, they're just paranoid. People sniffing around you means nothing, it's allergy season and people always have colds and such. I think you're just being paranoid. Unless you have solid proof that you smell (like direct comments) then don't freak out. Check with an honest friend and if they say you don't smell, believe them. I know I smell, it literally has me stressed out. Having to bathe often, changing shirts often and on top of that yellow stains. If you're like me the smell doesn't even come out of the shirts. My underarm odor is chronic, I'm a very clean person and take pride in who I am. It's even affecting my relationship because I push my boyfriend away when I smell myself and that is most of the time. Is it just me or, are you guys experiencing the same emotional discomfort and strain. Someone or something has to help us. Anyone feeling me?-- posted by Clana » stinkbomb - Checkin in hi!i'm so glad i'm not the only one with this problem. you sound exactly what i'm going through. i've had bad bo since i was 12yrs old. only within the last few years have i brought it up to a couple doctors. they were of NOOO help. they said you need to work out and bathe often. i've always been a very active person and i could bathe 100 times a day and still smell. i don't understand why no one has an answer for us that have this problem. it really makes you feel like your in a prison. i'm constantly worrying if someone can smell me. i was wondering if you tried anything that helped even a little?? is there any anti-bacterial ointment that could be used? i was even considering trying foot odor products. it's so depressing....its so hard to live a normal life. -- posted by stinkbomb » hadenuff3 - other products I have a few other places for different deodorants to try, After going to amazon .com and looking up deodorants I got the lead on some natural ones that may or may not be in your area. Just remember if you use them you do have to reapply sometimes 4 hrs sometimes 8 hrs. or not at all. One site was LUSH it is a natural product made in canada, I have not tried it but there is a comment section for each product. lush.com.usa the products that I found differnt are aromarant and aromacreme deodorants look like a bar of soap. The other company is Kiehl's they have a deodorant cream that is called superbly efficient anti-perspirant & deodorant cream that is unscented I like it because it is gentle, I do just reapply when it stops working. I love their Creme de Corps light -weight body lotion I have a sample of it and will be ordering more. This company has been in business since 1857 in New York with stores in different states. As usual what worked for me for awhile stopped so I looking the same as everyone else. The other product I looked into is dermalogica I have this on oder hopefully will see how it is (this is pricey at 18.00). There is also Biotherm which Nordstroms carries apx 25.00 haven't tried this. Another one is Happy me pit guard deodorant by sharps 11.00These are some different ones to try I am not saying they will work or not but they are something different than the same old store brands. And if your like me your still looking. Another one I have used and like is by Carines Macy's carries it. So here are some new challenges just remember if you want to look up more Amazon.com has quite a listing for deodorants you don't have to buy from them but gives a direction to go. Search out the Manufactor. Let me know if any of you try some and I will keep a post on what else I find Because I know some where there is something. -- posted by hadenuff3 » Clana - Checkin in My odor began when I was 12yrs old also. I went to one doctor and he diagnosed me with hyperhidrosis, so he prescribed drysol and almay deodorant. At first it appeared as if the drysol was working but then I got allergic to it and the almay just didn't cut it. So he suggested botox, but of course that's money I don't have and I wouldn't suggest it because it isn't long term. I am looking into some other procedures. You just have to keep researching. It's a terrible problem to have, one that noone should have to suffer. -- posted by runlikehell » stinkbomb - Retrodermal curettage liposuction i was wondering if anyone has had this procedure done. from my understanding the procedure removes the sweat glands so there's no sweating therefore, no odor. is this considered a cosmetic surgery not covered by most insurances?? i am just so tired of trying different methods to rid myself of the odor. surgery sounds pretty good right now if it will get rid of the terrible odor i have been living with for the past 17 years. since having my baby in jan06 it seems to have gotten worse. i don't want to even leave my house!!-- posted by stinkbomb » runlikehell - Retrodermal curettage liposuction In response to Retrodermal curettage liposuction posted by stinkbomb:here's a quote from Body Odor Support Group: "Three of our members (Barbara, Still Hoping and Groovy Knight) have had this surgery done.
