In response to message posted by Narcissus72:

Hi, I am also a 26 year old female going through the same thing that you are. I have had the odor problem for about 2 months now. I also have a rash of little bumps that appear now and again. I had to stop using the Suave liquid soap that I have used for years and the Suave deoderant as well. I used Dove soap and deoderant for and I still had the same problem. My underarm is itchy and painful at times. I scrub my underarms thoroughly and often and still have odor under arms. I put alcohol on it as well and that usually dries it up, but once I stop it comes right back. Also, my arms pits are very dark now. I have not consulted a doctor yet. Hearing what you are going through makes me wonder if I should even bother. I need help Now..

It might be a good idea to see a physician the description of the little bumps and rash may indicate that you have a yeast infection that could be cleared up with the appropriate treatment.

Please remember I am not a physician and the comments above are not medical advise but rather for informational purposes only.

I am 26 years old and have also had 3 children. I never experienced any problems of this sort until recently. I have always thought that having the children, messed with my hormones. The odor I'm experiencing is something awful. I have been under a lot of stress lately, and that's when I started to notice this. The problem now is that I can't seem to get rid of it. I don't know if it's the hormones or maybe an infection. I would like a solution as well!

» cnic00 - Underarm Odor

I am a 33yr old female going through the same thing, I have been struggling with this since my son was born 6 years ago and it just seems to get worse. I have been to 2 different doctors and neither one could tell me what was wrong with me. I have used everything under the sun. I shower twice a day and carry cleansing cloths and deoderant everywhere I go. After showering with anti-bac soap, applying deoderant, I smell within 2 hours. And it's really bad at times and very embarrassing. Ive been prescribed, Drysol and Xerac. Neither worked for me. I've ordered everything under the sun off of the internet that promises results, and basically I'm still looking for a cure for this. It has pretty much turned me into a hermit because I avoid all social situations. If anyone finds a cure please let me know!

I have the exact same problem with my underarms. I am unable to function at work. I am thinking about quiting this good paying job because of this problem. How does everyone deal with this problem at work? Have any of you found anything that works?

Hi! I'm a 13 year old girl, and suffer from the exact same thing as you. I've heard that it's just 'hormones' and that it'll go way by it self soon. And that alot of ppl have the same problem. But it still doesn't help the condition, now does it?
I just bought some new deoderant, but havn't tried it yet. But from what ive heard, its the best stuff. Its called "Mitchum" (Lady Mitchum) you may want to try it.
If that doesn't work, go to your local pharmacy. I talked to my pharmasist, and he said that there is a certain type of deo. stuff you can get. It's the strongest stuff you can get, (without a perscription) but its pricey. It's about $18.00 or so. But if all else fails, try it!
hope this helps some. Being a victim of crazy sweating myself, i understand just how embarassing it is. (especially around cute guys!!)

g2g, cay l8r!
Ann

I have had this same problem with little relief. It's not bad when I wear shirts with sleeves, but putting on tank tops can be risky. Currently, I am using two different types of deodorants at the same time: first I roll on a solid layer, then I spray over it with a second brand. That has helped some.
I did a google search and saw an ad for a doctor who says relief will cost a dollar for an everyday remedy you can get at the drugstore. The catch is that she wants ten dollars to tell you what the one dollar remedy is. Anyone seen this, or know the ten dollar secret?

» SurfGurl85 - I'm 17, this past year my deodorant hasn't been working.

I'm 17, this past year my deodorant hasn't been working. After 3 weeks- a month of one brand, it starts to wear off..it smells like it's "old". I am so clean, I take 2-3 showers a day. My dermatologist gave me Certain Dri, but I don't have a sweating problem, it's just the odor. This is so embaressing, I don't know what to do.

Hi white5,
Sorry To not responding earlier, I haven't been on this sight in a long time! I told someone above that I am going to see a nutrionist and probably a dermatologist for this problem because I am just getting worse and fast. It is so embarrassing! I have to buy new t-shirts every couple months because they soak up the smell and I can't get it out. I'll keep you posted on anything new.

Hi seven53,
I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted on here! It's now June. Geez! Anyway, my problem is just getting worse. I tried a deoderant without the aluminum in it and I smelled worse! I have an appointment to see a nutritonist, and I am also thinking of seeing a dermatologist. I'll let you know of anything new!
