HELLO I AM NEW TO THIS SITE AND I HAVE TO RESPOND TO THIS WHOLE ARMPIT THING I HAD THAT PROBLEM AND I DON'T THINK THAT SWEATING IS THE PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH SWEATING CAN BE AGGREVATING AND TOO MUCH OF IT CAN BE EMBARRASSING IT IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM. BACTERIA IS THE PROBLEM AND COVERING IT UP WITH DEODORANT AND USING BOTOX INJECTIONS TO STOP THE SWEAT IS NOT HELPFUL IN GETTING RID OF THE BACTERIA. SWEATING IS A NATURAL THING THAT YOU REALLY NEED YOUR BODY TOO DO IN ORDER TO KEEP COOL, SO I AM GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU REALLY NEED TO DO TO ERADICATE THE BACTERIA AND LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE. SO PLEASE STOP SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON BOTOX. FIRST OF ALL DRINK MORE WATER TO HELP REGULATE YOUR BODY TEMPERATURE (AT LEAST 8 8OZ. GLASSES A DAY). YOUR BODY MAY BE SWEATING MORE BECAUSE YOU ARE STRESSING OUT OVER THIS WHOLE THING. NEXT, WASH YOUR UNDER ARMS THROUGHLY AT LEAST TWICE A DAY MORE IF NEEDED AND ALSO KEEP YOUR UNDERARMS SHAVED. I SHAVE EVERY OTHER DAY. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU ARE WASHING YOUR UNDERARMS YOU DON'T LEAVE ANY RESIDUE FROM THE DEODORANT CLEAN IT GOOD. NEXT APPLY A THIN LAYER OF DEODORANT TO THE UNDERARMS YOU DON'T NEED A THICK LAYER ITS NOT NEEDED. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU NEED TO DO IS GO TO A DOCTOR FOR A ANTIBIOTIC (I HOPE I SPELLED THAT RIGHT) I GOT ONE CALLED CEFUROXIME AXETIL 250MG. TARAN, AND I USED IT TWICE A DAY FOR 7 DAYS AND I SAW A DIFFERENCE IN 3 DAYS I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO ODORS WHAT SO EVER. YOU HAVE TO KILL THE BACTERIA UNDER YOUR ARMS IN ORDER TO GET RID OF THE PROBLEM SOMETIMES YOU CAN GET A BACTERIA ON YOUR BODY THAT REGULAR SOAP AND WATER WON'T GET RID OF AND YOU HAVE TO USE A ANTIBIOTIC AND YOU CAN SWEAT ALL DAY AND NOT HAVE A ODOR YOU CAN EVEN GO A WHILE WITHOUT WASHING THE AREA AND STILL NOT GET A ODOR BECAUSE THERE IS NO BACTERIA PRESENT. I ALSO USE FRAGRANCE FREE DEODORANT AND I NOTICE THAT IT DON'T MATTER WHAT KIND OF SOAP OR DEODORANT I USE I STILL DON'T GET A ODOR BECAUSE THE BACTERIA IS GONE SO TRY GETTING THAT ANTIBIOTIC AND KEEP YOUR UNDERARMS CLEAN SO THAT WHEN YOU DO GET RID OF THE BACTERIA IT WON'T COME BACK. ITS ALL ABOUT HAVING GOOD HYGIENE AND IF YOU DO GET A ODOR YOU CAN'T GET RID OF WITH OLD FASHION WASHING YOU MAY NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR TO GET SOME MEDICINE. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO THIS I HAD THE WORSE CASE OF UNDERARM ODOR AND IT MADE MY LIFE MISERABLE AND I SAID THAT ONCE I FIND OUT HOW TO GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM I WILL HELP AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN TO GET RID OF THEIR PROBLEM BECAUSE THIS IS VERY PAINFUL TO GO THROUGH. I HAD HYDRANITIS SUPRATIVA AND THAT CAUSED SOME OF THE PROBLEM AND I DIDN'T KEEP THE AREA CLEAN AND I ALSO SWEAT ALOT UNDER THERE AND I STILL SWEAT SOME BUT A VERY LITTLE AND I HAVE NO ODOR AND NO SWEAT STAINS SO PLEASE DO THIS AND STOP TAKING YOURSELF THROUGH ALL THAT OTHER STUFF AND SPENDING ALL THAT UNNESSARY MONEY. BYE.

» hadenuff3 - Not all the Same?

I see we are all stilling searching! I agree with Lyric75 about shaveing underarms, but doesn't have to be done every day-do it as needed. The medicine was needed for a skin problem you we're having? Not all of us are going through that so why would we want to take an anitbotic if we do not have that skin problem plus I don't think a DR. would give us a prescription just because we have body odor? Most won't give one.
Anyway I came on to tell of some products I have found. They may work for you or not. I have found two powders (talc) that I like to use at night, one is Gold Bond Ultimate-it is in a white container with gold top, I even use it during the day it seems to keep me dryer than the next, the other is shower to shower summer effects same container colors. The other product I have found but not used yet is clearly natural unscented natural deo. it also comes in an almond scent- the reason I haven't tried it yet is that it is just comeing into my health food store next week, but you can buy on line. The powders can be bought at Wal-mart 5.00 for gold bond and 4.00 for shower to shower. The other thing I have been useing is an unscented glycerine soap by clearly natural after I wash with a deodorant soap, just seems to clear off the stink better. I haven't been in touch for quite some time- so just like the rest out there have suffered with this problem for years. For those trying to use baking soda, only to have your underarms red and rashy you might try the powders- I've used them for over a week and no rash or burning.
good luck.

» green125 - use of baking soda and burning

I have had really bad burning using the baking soda. I remembered someone saying to mix the baking soda with baby powder and a little water and apply to the underarm, so I tried it that way. To my surprise, it really helped, I had no burning at all.

I have had an underarm odor problem for about 6 years now. I have reasearched this problem over
and over again and have tried all sorts of products. You name it I've probably tried it.
Recently I ordered more products and am happy
to tell you all that one has worked !! I want to
share that product with you because I know how
embarrasing a problem it is and what it does to
your life.
Go to JMGproducts.com or call 1-877-601-5832
and order "Odor Eraser" Its in a cream form
and costs $19.95. I had it sent Priority Mail
so I received it within 3 days. You apply it at
night wash it off in the morning and reaapply.
I did not have to wash up at work at all this past week. I was still self conscious of myself of course and checked every once in a while but it worked !! Just make sure to leave it on for
15 min or so and put deodorant on top of it.
I also want to tell everyone that I have found
that a deodorant that you get in a sporting
goods store or online at Cabelo's called Scent-Away works better than any you find in the stores. Believe me I've tried every single one of them. This deodorant is what hunters use because it has no scent at all to it- nothing.
Wheras ones in the stores even though they say
its unscented most have some kind of smell to it. There are other brands of hunters deodorants, I've tried a few of them they work
just as well. If "Odor Eraser" is helping me
I know it will for you.

I have used a special scent-removing soap that hunters use when deer hunting. It removes all odors and human scents completely. My husband bought it at the local Wal-mart I believe, but after hunting season I started using it to see how it worked for underarm odors and it worked rather well!! It was a green liquid soap in a bottle...

Can you give me some info on this special scent-removing hunting soap. I two suffer from underarm odor and would like to rid myself of this problem. Though I am young; as I am only 16 I know what every single one of you got through every day with dealing with this problem, and it would be great if something is discovered that could cure every person of this problem. Good luck to everyone who is still trying to find that special something to rid them of BO, as I am going to continue to look two.

I am curious, have you tried showering with Betadine Surgical Scrub? That is the only thing that I have found that has worked, but it is kind of a hastle to use. I was wondering if Odor Esaser is more effective, because it certainly sounds like less of a hastle.

» green125 - relief from skin irritantion

I am still using the baking soda under my arms, and I think it is working. Even while using baby powder with it, it burns!!! I thought the baby powder would make a difference, but it did not. I found a wonderful ointment called aquaphor, which I am sure many of you have heard of. It can be purchased at any drug store for about $4.75. This cream is used to keep the baking soda from burning the sensitive skin tissue surrounding the armpit. I would get whelps in the armpit area, and my skin would turn RED. It was painful, this ointment protects the skin, so I can really have a normal day without Burning. I hope someone can use this information. I am also interested in using a soap called sulphur soap.

» ssyyrruuss - Bakin Soda in Minnesota

about the baking soda, it helps to cause less irritation if you take like a sponge or wash cloth and moisten it a bit and then dab it under your armpits instead of rubbing it in... I mean although it is a very fine poweder people do use it as an exfoliator and underarm skin is probably more sensitive to most since its always moist and doesn't really come into contact with much .. imho
