Making Time For Spirit

my communion with spirit seems to be external to me. i percieve her acting around me and although i am new to experiencing her presence (almost 3 years) i find my self not connecting the spirit to what's happening within. how do i learn to be more "open to the spirit", as my church says it, that is also within? if anyone can give me some guidance in this i would surely love to hear it.-- posted by jjunglboy
