In response to message posted by honeybee69:

If you'd like research from a personal perspective, read Divinely Inspired: Spiritual Awakening of a Soul by Jerry Pollock. He takes readers down his path of recovery from:

  • Depression
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Anxiety & Panic
  • A suicide attempt
  • . . . and more

He describes the use of the following treatments:

  • Primal Therapy
  • Medications
  • Shock Therapy
  • Being in an institution

Readers walk away from this book with a firmer grasp of what someone with these disorders go through from a personal and medical point of view. Here's the link: divinelyinspired.com

I'd be happy to discuss this further in email if you'd like.
