» noozhound - Return of the "contras" So whoop-de-do, ol' Georgie Porgie is getting contradictory advice from his so-called "friends". And they are pompous, arrogant and over-bearing, to boot. What else is new? It is the job of a pundit to annoy us with meaningless chatter, pretending to inside knowledge while actually having not one single good idea. It's part of the reason that there is such a disconnect between the people and the press. Who can take the Sunday Morning talk show follies seriously anymore? Who can read an op ed piece without yielding to gales of hysterical laughter? Not I. And, while I seriously doubt that our current President (you know, the Supreme Court appointee) has a higher IQ than Bill Buckley or Robert Novak, I don't doubt that he will do just fine ignoring their advice. As is right and proper.-- posted by noozhound
