» Barbara Bell - Excellent advice These are good points, Kent, and young women especially should learn from this event to take more care when being anywhere at 3 in the morning.Alcohol is the great leveller in society - it makes everyone stupid. Two young teenage girls in our city were drinking at 5 am this past weekend. Don't ask why - besides poor judgment and lack of supervision - but then, to compound their mistake they decided to get in a car and drive home. The 16-year-old driver lost control, wrapped her car around a utility pole, and killed her best friend. Too many issues here to go into, but youth, alcohol, hubris, and a lack of fear all come into play in both Nicole's death and this young teenager. -- posted by Barbara Bell
