» Maureen Fleury - Great Idea

I think this would be a very scenic trip and unique accomodation. The sea lions and pounding surf really make it appealing. The seashore has always been a favorite place of mine.

Caroling under the stars is a wonderful idea for the Christmas season.

Great article!

Annette,

I enjoyed your article on California lighthouses. There are seven historic lighthouses on the coast of North Carolina (Cape Hatteras being the most famous) and I always enjoy visiting them when I get the chance. A few of them are open during the day for touring but none are open as lodging at night. Spending the night at a lighthouse would be a great experience!
