» Minnie - Rented computer wouldn't
let me access your email. John, I ran into a virus on a link given in one of my discussions. I deleted the whole message, but know that same message is on at least two other Christian topics.It was posted by s8int on the 2nd from the last link called insidetheweb.messageboard, under Religion & Spirituality. I don't think he knows about it, and I can't remember what the specific name of the message board is.
Feel free to delete this. I'm on a rented computer, so I appreciate you picking up the ball from here.
It could be just a prank, but I'm sure s8int wasn't aware of it when he posted the link. Anyway I don't know how to contact Jason or anyone else, so please pass my predicament on to whoever needs to know.
I'm not sure how long I will be unable to access the Suite, depending on when my technician can get to my computer. Thanks for any help.

Hi John,I am back on-line. The virus was a prank and hoax as far as we can tell. I had my computer checked out and my technician is positive that it's ok.
The message board had the title "Haven't got enough touble in your life? then come to this board". When I clicked on it, it started and completed loading a "virus" so quickly that I couldn't stop it in time.
You can delete this whole discussion thread at your discretion.

Here is a direct link to s8int's message board. There is at least one other web site I know of that won't let people link to a particular page, but rather changes it to their home page, so please simply be aware of possible challenges when accessing a lot of different message boards.-- posted by Minnie
