Finally....You are the only person I have found with the same exact symptoms as me!! The pressure...makes the hands itch so intensely it is almost impossible not to scratch for relief! I take a wet cloth and ring it until it sometimes tears to get relief! This causes the hands to crack, and I get thick skin that peels. I have tried 6 kinds of steroid creams, had allergy tests...but not food ones yet..and extensive blood tests. Changed laundry detergents, stopped using fabric softener, changed fluid pills..still the same. I have had this for almost a year, starting soon after I lost both my hysband and mother to cancer.It hasa stopped me from sewing, golfing, playing guitar...all of the things that made life worthwhile. I am getting very depressed about it, but am determined to find the cause. I also have a few itchy spots on my body..one lady said her husband had similiar condition and was allergic to tomatoes..so I am not eating any more of those..if I find out ANYTHING helpful I will contact you.
