Did you know that Howie D of the Backstreet Boys lost his sister Caroline to Lupus several years ago which prompted him to form the Dorough Lupus Foundation? Its ongoing mission is to promote Lupus awareness "worldwide" and help fund Lupus research in hope of finding a cure for this disease.
