Desert gardening is incredibly different from what I am accustomed to in upstate NY. I am closer to Canada than to the "City". You have a whole new world to me.

Did I recognize your photo as being taken just outside the Phoenix Botanic Garden?

Yes, gardening in the desert is very different, especially so because we can garden just about year round, although many of us 'desert rats' pretty much hibernate during the hot summer or head for the mountains.

Pat, desert gardening is foreign to me too. Our gardens are lush most of the year and keep growing for nearly 12 months.

But at least you don't have to weed for 12 months, 24 hours a day to try to keep up with the wretches.
