I will be making my first down south next year for a family reunion. My father was born in Lousiana but they moved to Arkansas when he was only about 2yrs old. I'm told I have a lot of family in both states. I guess I will find out next year. -- posted by Roostergrl » StCatherine - Re: Re: Kathryn... In response to message posted by LilBitz:I have family in Arkansas, too. And family is Mississippi. I have a job interview in my Dad's home county in MS next week. I hope you have a great trip here. It was not there when I moved from Louisiana in 1985, but was there when we moved back in 1991. -- posted by StCatherine -- posted by StCatherine » StCatherine - Re: Of alligators and such In response to message posted by Sunbear:Thanks for visiting my topic. There are many good roadside attractions. They are often the subject of jokes, but most do not deserve it. I hope you do get to visit my home state! -- posted by StCatherine

It was before 1985 that we visited and we saw the Christmas Lights on Cane River. That was beautiful! -- posted by Joy Butler » StCatherine - Re: Re: Re: Alligator Park In response to message posted by JButler:The lights are wonderful! When my daughter was little, we often picnicked by the river. We were there one evening about 5 p.m. when the city cut the lights on. It was so magical to be sitting in Cane River park when the lights suddenly burst into color. -- posted by StCatherine « Previous 1 2 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
