» helper2 - Classifcation Problem and a Commercial Tone

Seems that this article ended up being classified under the Computers and Internet Community Center -- it would appear to me that it should be under Travel or other topic.

Putting links to T-Shit links is a interesting method of commercialism.

» Sunbear - Mind the Gappes

Hi Annie,

Thanks for writing a super article! Did not realize (probably should have) there were these bats in the Tube. Charming!

God only knows what else lives in the Tube as well as undergrounds everywhere.

Really enjoyed your article. Am catching up on your writing.

Take care
Tom

In response to message posted by ckr:

You are right absolutely nothing to do with computing - Suite 101 mis categorised this feature ages and ages ago, I told them about it and they did nothing and unfortunately I haven't got the time to keep chasing them.

Glad you liked the article though.

Many thanks

» NickLeverton - Mind the Gap dance tunes

I guess you got the info on the tunes from an old posting of mine on Usenet (cos I remember making it), however I have updated information for you !

The Lectrolux tune called "Mind the Gap" is
correct ;

The Novy vs. Eniac one isn't Mind the Gap, the DJ I asked told me wrong. The tune I heard, as I later discovered, is called "Mind the Gap" (obviously smile) by Carpe Diem;

The KLF (aka the JAMM) did a "Mind the Gap" track on their LP "What the .uck is going on". This record was withdrawn after a number of the people sampled on it claimed for copyright, I don't know whether that included LU !

There are also a number of other tracks and albums called Mind The Gap but I don't know that any of them feature those iconic words.
