» NALocke - Thank you!

Thanks Jerri and Alyssa! I hope the column will be a useful resource, but I also see it as a way to learn. By the way, Jerri, I enjoyed your profile very much.

» n2europe - Interesting article and site

I have not had the time to browse through everything, but your site looks interesting and I look forward to reading more in the near future.

Having been in the localization business for the past 15 years, I especially look forward to reading more news articles from an "independent" source.

Good luck.
Daniel

» NALocke - Welcome!

Thanks for visiting, Daniel.

I visited your site and enjoyed reading the articles on CAT and the German language reform.

The reform really has people going in circles. A German translator told me recently that, in practice, the reforms are being ignored by many. She also said that, in her opinion, the now acceptable compound words that result in tripled consonants were particularly odious.

I hope you visit again and feel free to share some of your fifteen years of experience. An "independent" source is a good thing, but accuracy and expert feedback will be the key to making the site a useful resource.

Best,
