Van,

I enjoyed this article on textures. Though I had never thought about it these terms, learning to notice the details and intricacies of countless textures is definitely a key ingredient contributing to the experience of nature observation. Thanks for the wonderful article! Your photographs are beautiful as well and help the reader in understanding the subject matter.

Van, texture aptly describes your writing content and style. I'm so glad I looked up some of your previous articles. The photo of frost on a window is similar to one I took a few years ago -- I remember as a child (oh heck, as an adult too) pressing my finger into the frost to feel and see it melt. Often the lines of my flesh would be visible in the newly created marking.
