» JLevack - Good stuff

I think you have it right. Parrots, with each successive generation in captivity become more like humans in procreation. Lovebirds in their natural habitat have a cycle based on climate and access to food. The paired lovebirds who shared my life, being secure and well nourished, started thinking of love as soon as they could throw their latest hatchlings out of the nest.
