Redolent with violets

. . . for the lovely Spring walks! Your prose and photos are so evocative of Springs I knew when I lived in Michigan. I'm from the Arizona desert and, I remember smelling the most delightful aroma my first Spring in Michgan. It turned out to be the scent of violets (which I had never before smelled!).

Your photos are beautiful. I especially liked the "ephemeral pond" photo.

Hi Mari, it's nice to hear from you. I've taken up photography in the past year. This is not the first time, but I haven't done much in the past decade. My digital camera has changed that. I'm glad you liked the "ephemeral pond" photo, because it's one of my favourites out of thousands I've taken in the past 12 months.
