» jerrib - Nice reminder

It is so easy to let paper pile up around the house. How convenient you have a garbage near your mailbox - that was a clever idea! I usually open open junk mail because I shred it before throwing it out.

Thanks, Jerri. You know? - it seems that keeping on top of all the paper is a full-time job. I thought computers were supposed to end all the wasting of paper . . . ?

» Sue59 - great ideas

Loved your article Mari,

I am always stunned by the paperwork around my place.
We have a recycling system in our city, every week. So once a week I go thru the house and pack up into a bag all the paper and cardboard I can find to go out. Its amaazing how much, in just one week, is accumilated.

I wish my city would get on the ball and start a recycling program! I used to live in the next city over - and they had a great program, but that city is a university town and uni towns seem to be more environmentally concerned.

» Joy Butler - Paper clutter

Although I have a good bill paying system worked out, I'm guilty of lots of other paper clutter...coupons, magazines, catalogs, ancient receipts, etc. But your article is a nice reminder to not allow it to take over.

I know what you mean. If I let it go for even a day, it seems the paper clutter multiplies at a geometric rate. :-)
