» pamela_saint - Size Matters?

Hi Diana,

I still have Atonement kicking around the house waiting for me to read it.

Why does size matter (in literature that is)? I can think of plenty of small books that are gems and are plenty ambitious in ways not measureable in page length!

Really enjoyed the article--Atonement is on the top of the stack now.

In response to message posted by pamela_saint:

Hi Pamela, I think reading Atonement is well timed after your article on Virginia Woolf. Woolf is referred to several times in the second half of the novel, and her writing style is adopted by one of the characters of the book!

Cheers!
...Diana
