Hi Diana,

This is one novel I've been meaning to read for a long time and for whatever reason haven't gotten around to doing so. Your wonderfully insightful review, however, has pushed the title to the top of the reading heap. The fiction/biography/ criticism mix sounds all too tempting.

I read yesterday that the Booker Prize may be extended to American authors. I wonder why...

Hi Pamela, I thought you might be interested in the book as I was writing the article I thought 'I bet Pamela knows this one'. You will love the book, also one thing I didn't mention is that the book is written with great humour (something I envy the brits--you guys do it so well.)

Yes American authors for the Booker...hmmm. I hope that still means good things for Canadians .
I think I feel another article coming onsmile

Thanks for stopping in,
...Diana

Diana,

I feel honored that you thought of me! Really. I feel bound to admit, however, that I'm not British--I'm an American impersonator!

I'm walking to the library today to find FP.
