My problem is I'm surrounded by people who speak poorly (including myself) so, I run into difficulties when it comes to writing. I tend to write how I speak and this isn't always a good thing! I've also noticed a lot of people becoming extremly lazy since the dawn of the Internet through use of email and chats. What used to be considered taboo is now a way of communicating for these people. A slang here, a shortened word or symbol there can get really annoying for someone trying to keep their rules in use!
