Another great article, Francois. Socialized medicine is a great idea. It simply doesn't work as advertised.

Lots of ideas look great on paper. For example, the first rockets we designed during the space race. But those early rockets all crashed and exploded. The idea looked great on paper, but it didn't actually work the way it was supposed to work. So what did we do? Naturally, we didn't send our astronauts into space riding the same rockets which we knew didn't work. We went back to the drawing board, until we found something that worked in reality, not just on paper.

I would love to live under socialism in theory. But not in reality. It simply doesn't work as promised.
