» CarolWallace - That's really lovely!

It brought a smile to me, too - and I hope that poor little neglected boy has a supply of paper and crayons now.

In a way your article reminded me of my experience during my Ph.D. program - I was in an extremely grueling and competitive program - many students in it regularly showed up in emergency rooms with anxiety attacks. But some of us had a secret we hesitated to let out. We colored. Dover makes a series of coloring books that were sophisticated enough that we didn't feel silly - coloring in a Mucha drawing, for instance. And that soothing activity kept us sane. So that sheet of paper can be valuable for older people, too.
