Then you shouldn't use the word. I feel the same about African Americans using the "N word" and then getting upset when someone with not dark enough complexion uses "their word."

Besides, as an engineer, I'd like say "hand me the dikes" and not get in trouble with the PC police for asking for a pair of diagonal cutters.... which was what the word meant before it was stolen from us.

If your goal is inclusion, then you should not make yourselves out to be a private club with words only you can say.
