A Lestrian Christmas Pudding!: Christmas pudding...Read the article this discussion is about

» Red - Christmas pudding... Beth,Grandma always made Christmas pudding. She started in September and allowed it to cure until a few days before Christmas. On Christmas Day, the pudding was reheated in a steamer. Grandma always made a brown sugar dip to put over it. Mmm! Now that Grandma is gone (1974) Mom makes the Christmas pudding. My brother often helps her. This is his contribution. The rest of us help with other things. Like you, it wouldn't be Christmas without Christmas pudding. One day I will have to make my own but it won't taste quite the same as Grandma's and Moms. It is a Christmas tradition in our family and has to be carried on. Great article. Thanks for submitting it to the Celebration of December Event. -- posted by Red
