» Helast - Congratulations

It is nice to hear of the people still in the year 2000 making such a huge piece of hand-made bobbin lace.......
What is exactly 'Japanese thread'???????What thread do you use now to make the lace in classic pattern???and where does it come from???
I am Belgian (Flemish) and I lived during my youth in Canada and USA ....I came back to Europe and took courses in lace for about 8 years at the moment I have restarted a course of 6 years......
(one cannot learn enough and the more one knows the less one knows)What nationality is the teacher?????Is it possible to put a picture of the work on the net ??????Has Puerto Rico a special own style or color of lace ???I am curious but it is very enriching .at the time I did have friends from Puerto Rico but I was not aware of the making of any lace there ....bye bye keep up the work and greetings from Antwerp
