» Jo Murphy - Awesome

Sounds awesome.
You would not believe how busy I am?
I saw the title
Spicy Chicken and Pumpkin Cakes
and actually got attracted to come and have a look any way.
Amazing day?
Crayfish sounds devine!
Any way.
Do you have Moreton Bay Bugs in new Zealand - or - some such similar thing?
And if so how do you suggest cooking them at their best and most succulently tempting.
What desert would you have after?
Jo

No, we don't have Moreton Bay Bugs here - but I hope my son in Brisbane is making the most of them. However, I have eaten them. As with any crustacean, they shouldn't be overcooked or they get tough. A dessert? How about a sorbet made from some of Queensland's tropical fruit? Puree it, add a dash of vodka or rum and some lemony syrup and freeze. Remove from freezer and whisk with a fork and return to freezer. Do this once or twice. Check out my Gin and Tonic sorbet recipe too.

They'd be good with fish instead of chicken, too.
I remember those Norwesters!! ;-)
