» Poggenpohl - Vinyl floors

Dear Brian,
What do you know about Amtico floors? My kitchen designer recommended them as being extremely versatile and durable.
(Sorry if I'm repeating myself, I'm new to this site.)

» BMahoney - Amtico

While I haven't heard of Amtico, I did some searching. All in all, it seems to be a fantastic product. Varous discussion groups had messages from folks who have Amtico flooring in their homes and all said it was terrific.

Check it out at :

http://www.amtico.com/

The company is in England and, while most of my readers are from the States, everyone may be interested to know that some new and exciting technologies come from Europe.

Vinyl tiles shouldn't be ignored for use in modern upscale kitchens. They do require some maintenance but I think you will find them warmer and easier on your feet and your crystal. Amtico, from what I have read, seems to be a very high end product.

Check out the warranty, however, and weigh the costs involved. Let me know how it turns out.
