Brian,

I'll be awaiting your upcoming aticles about Whirpool dishwashers with interest, as I too recently (mid-December) bought a new Whirlpool dishwasher.

So far I really like mine. I specifically chose a model with Quiet in the name, and it truly does make less noise than the dishwasher it replaced. It also cleans a lot better.

Carrie, my dishwasher is still in the back of my Voyager, waiting for a free day to install it. I expect it will be quieter than my old one, a GE, mainly because of the plastic interior. Anyone can make a dishwasher quieter by simply adding a thicker blanket of insulation around the top and sides. Cushioning the legs will help also as a lot of the noise is transmitted through the floor joists to the rest of the house. I'll get into that in the appliance articles I expect.
Thanks for writing.

Does anyone know of a good site on the internet to buy the "higher end" whirlpool appliances?

We just ordered Kraftmaid cabinets on the net at a substantial savings and would like to also save some money on the appliances for a kitchen I am remodeling.

thanks
