» coolout - Question

Hi Donna!

Your articles are fantabulously humourous. Great recipes. A chunky peanut butter fan myself, I couldn't help but read this article. Just one thing tho - I thought George Washington Carver invented peanut butter, including many other uses for the peanut. I'm standing in case you need to correct me:-)

Take care,
CaLana

» tmelaine - history and origins of peanut butter

Boy, I must be a compulsive researcher!!

I found a page that gives a run-down on peanut butter beginnings -- http://www.peanutbutterlovers.com/Histor...

This is part of a site that looks interesting, dedicated to adult lovers of peanut butter!!

The unknown creator of peanut butter was George Washington Carver. All of your researching, and you couldn't find that! Just thought you should know;)
