» Tina_Coruth - Very tempting goodies! Hi Mary,These sound yummy. The best part is that the kids certainly won't feel deprived. I doubt they would even realize the sugar has been reduced. Hmmm - good for all of us! Thank you. -- posted by Tina_Coruth » Red - Re: Very tempting goodies! In response to Very tempting goodies! posted by Tina_Coruth:Tina, You should try them with Zach and Keely. They would love these recipes. It's lots of fun to bake with grandchildren. The reduced sugar is great for all of us. -- posted by Red » Red - Re: These recipes In response to These recipes posted by jerrib:Jerri, I bet your aunt and uncle will enjoy these treats. Being a diabetic no longer means you can't enjoy the food you eat. You just have to be careful. Thanks for stopping by. -- posted by Red » Red - Re: Sounds delicious! In response to Sounds delicious! posted by Satirie:Genia, Glad you stopped by. I'm always looking for good recipes. I have a sweet tooth and sugar and diabetes don't mix. I make up my own, usually and then pass them on to others. Hope your family enjoys these delicious treats. Stop by anytime. I was nice to see you here. -- posted by Red

Mary, I'm not diabetic but I eat entirely too many sweets. And as much as I love chocolate, I'm taking note of that chocolate frosting recipe! Thanks. -- posted by Joy Butler » Red - Re: Re: Re: Sounds delicious! In response to Re: Re: Sounds delicious! posted by JButler:Joy, I've had a sweet tooth from the time I was a kid, but my diabetes is genetic. It was on both sides of the family. My paternal grandmother stopped taking care of her diabetes when Grandpa died. Within a year she was gone. She had a very extreme case. The chocolate frosting is delicious, Joy. Did you know that you can use Equal as a sugar substitute and make almost any kind of desert or treat that you like? I'm not sure if it would make candy, but do know there is a white and brown sugar substitute that you can use for all baking. Thanks for dropping by, my friend. It's always nice to see you. -- posted by Red
