» Red - Fibro...

Deanna,

A great article. I never thought about children having Fibro. Thanks for keeping us educated on the subject.

It's definitely not a disease of adults, unfortunately. I fear my son has some of the warning signs. Thanks for the feedback. It's definitely a subject I'm passionate about - Fibromyalgia.

Hey Deanna. One of the Fibro Friends just posted a link to your article. Thanks for addressing an aspect of fibro that doesn't get much press.

I don't remember having growing pains as a child, but I did have other symptoms that lead me to believe now that it all started way back then, and led to the development of fibro later on in life.

Thanks for the info. I'll link to this from the Fibro Friends as well.

Hugs,
T

It is intriguing and yet sad to read that this medical condition develops in kids, too. Yes, I love your advice: all of us must learn to relax more. Muscle tension seems to be at the root of many problems.

You caught my attention with this article. As I read it, I was reminded of when I was a kid. After I had my tonsils out, I was very sick. I was about 11 years old. I started to experience pain - I called them little pains that would strike fast and then be gone. I got them all over my body. Through the years I was told all sorts of things - usually that it was some sort of arthritis or it was my imagination. It went away for a few years, then returns. It comes and goes. I was definitely tired all the time and had difficulty sleeping. I wonder...

Whether I had that or not, I appreciate being informed about the condition. Thanks!
