I don't remember having growing pains as a child, but I did have other symptoms that lead me to believe now that it all started way back then, and led to the development of fibro later on in life.

It is intriguing and yet sad to read that this medical condition develops in kids, too. Yes, I love your advice: all of us must learn to relax more. Muscle tension seems to be at the root of many problems.- David

In response to Interesting Article posted by IsraelDan:You caught my attention with this article. As I read it, I was reminded of when I was a kid. After I had my tonsils out, I was very sick. I was about 11 years old. I started to experience pain - I called them little pains that would strike fast and then be gone. I got them all over my body. Through the years I was told all sorts of things - usually that it was some sort of arthritis or it was my imagination. It went away for a few years, then returns. It comes and goes. I was definitely tired all the time and had difficulty sleeping. I wonder...
Whether I had that or not, I appreciate being informed about the condition. Thanks!
