Excellent article! There's a lot of good points here. I like the tip about drinking water at meals. It is a good way to keep from overeating.

Jerri is right. Our culture doesn't usually think about health over the holidays. In Canada, our Thanksgiving is in October, so there is more time between that and Christmas. We don't have two big holidays within a month. Even then, we really should be more health conscious at this time of year.
