What a lovely Christmas gift, Traute, and what a lucky cat. Have you thought of 'Bindi' as a name? He sounds a bit prickly and we have a Bindi bur in the Outback that is prickly, but very affectionate and clings to you. My other suggestion is 'Shanti'. The meaning may rub off on him and you can both have some peace. Enjoy your newfound companion.All the best. Happy Christmas. Penny

I am still waiting to take him to the Humane Society to see if they can figure out his tattoo so we can trace his origin and his name. He is not crazy about car travel, and I haven't had time yet anyway.-- posted by biogardener
