» Linda - Thank you, Traute!

Traute,

Thank you for reviving the Kids Garden column. I have missed writing it, but I have been busy with my children, volunteer work, and such, so I have not had time to write. I wish you all the best!

Have a wonderful summer!

» Georgene A. Bramlage - Thank you, Traute!

Good Luck on reviving and changing the slant on this topic! I'm sure the URL will appear as links on many teachers web sites.

With regard to your above poll, I might add that I learned to garden as a child; taught my children to garden; and as a new grand mother am looking forward to supplementing what my kids teach their kids about appreciating and working in good soil.

Incidentally, not directly related to the children gardeners themselves, but to their adult mentors...Gardeners Supply has community / school grants for working with kids and kids gardening.

Good luck with this fine new column!

» Red - Introduction...

Traute,

Excellent introduction to your latest topic. It is in good hands. I will be bringing the boys for a visit when they come over next time. They love gardening and I know they will learn a lot here.

» biogardener - Email from Linda

Linda just emailed to tell us that she is leaving for China tomorrow. She is asking us to pray for a smooth journey, and she will let us know when she arrives home with Anya.

» biogardener - Anya and Children's Stories

Anya is home with the Mazar's now, and I have seen photo's of her. She is adorable.

I am starting a new website for my children's stories on gardening and any other topic. Just writing gardening stories is a bit restrictive to this old school teacher who has taught many different subjects to children of all ages, from 2 to 84.
