With regard to your above poll, I might add that I learned to garden as a child; taught my children to garden; and as a new grand mother am looking forward to supplementing what my kids teach their kids about appreciating and working in good soil. Incidentally, not directly related to the children gardeners themselves, but to their adult mentors...Gardeners Supply has community / school grants for working with kids and kids gardening. Good luck with this fine new column! -- posted by Georgene A. Bramlage » Barbara Bell - A very good first article Traute, you've done a great job making this article accessible to young people who are interested in gardening. Thanks for adopting the topic!-- posted by Barbara Bell » thebattwoman - Re: A very good first article In response to message posted by bici:I knew that it would be in good hands!! Well done Traute, I LOVE how you've changed the focus! -- posted by thebattwoman » biogardener - Email from Linda Linda just emailed to tell us that she is leaving for China tomorrow. She is asking us to pray for a smooth journey, and she will let us know when she arrives home with Anya.-- posted by biogardener » biogardener - Anya and Children's Stories Anya is home with the Mazar's now, and I have seen photo's of her. She is adorable.I am starting a new website for my children's stories on gardening and any other topic. Just writing gardening stories is a bit restrictive to this old school teacher who has taught many different subjects to children of all ages, from 2 to 84. -- posted by biogardener
