I had my son gardening with me froma young age, too, and he loves it! I saw Dr. Mike Riera on CBS Early Show this past Saturday morning. He talked about how planting a garden, nurturing and watering it, were great ways for a child to learn to wait for something, instead of the instant-gratification most desire! I thought that made a lot of sense. Plus, it is much healthier than being indoors in front of a tv!
