Hi Linda,
I've been gardening with my granddaughter since she was 18 months old. Now, she is 5 and has her own little garden much like your son's. I plan time just for gardening and she follows my lead with the watering and weeding. She gets so excited when the first blooms appear and I reminder that all her tender care brought the blossoms to reach high and show their colors. We have a enjoy the wonders of gardening and each season we learn more about the plants and living things. Great article!
